Project Description
Living Well: Four Ways To End the Year Well
We’re almost there!
With the holidays and end of the year approaching, it can be common to feel stressed and overwhelmed. But the end of the year is a great time to practice self-care, so that you can end the year well.
Here are four ways to end the year well:
- Give Back
Research some causes in your community that are meaningful to you. Donating your time or other resources like non-perishable food items or gently used clothing can go a long way for both you and your community.
- Play Outside
We all know that fresh air has a positive impact on our mental health. Regardless of the weather, make room in your schedule to enjoy some outdoor activities. This can benefit anyone, physically and mentally.
Set Boundaries
It’s important to understand our boundaries, especially as we head into a busy holiday season. Understand that it’s ok to say ‘no’ sometimes to holiday plans and replace them with downtime for self-care.
- Get Creative
Having a creative outlet helps combat the feeling of burn out. Flex the right side of your brain by doing some holiday crafts or resume your favorite creative hobby.
