Surrey, B.C. – Matt Houghton, CEO of GroupHEALTH Benefit Solutions®, one of Canada’s largest and most respected third-party benefits administrators, welcomes Ed Brett to GroupHEALTH in the role of Vice President, Marketing and Communications. Brett will be based in GroupHEALTH’s South Surrey, B.C. head office, and will oversee marketing and communications initiatives across Canada.
Brett has 20 years of diverse business to consumer and business to business financial services marketing experience, most recently from British Columbia’s credit union sector. He has led teams responsible for digital technology, marketing and product management, customer experience, call centre and digital sales and service channels, and strategy and planning. These teams have helped change the Canadian financial services marketplace with product and service innovations, and have driven successful customer acquisition and retention, as well as corporate brand initiatives.
In his role, Brett will lead a team that will support GroupHEALTH’s ambitious growth goals. “GroupHEALTH continues to introduce innovative products and services to the group insurance sector,” said Houghton. “These have made us one of the fastest growing companies in Canada, and Ed’s marketing and communications leadership will build on our progress and help drive continued momentum.”
