Client Services – Team Lead, Administrative Systems
Our team is responsible for managing our client data across all the system platforms used by our Client Services team. We support the service team members from a technical aspect, allowing the team to focus on their main objective, Service!

I am a music festival addict! I attend at least one festival each year, and I also attend a concert almost every month. I just love live music and the spirit of the crowd.
IT – QA Supervisor
I’m responsible for quality assurance of all GroupHEALTH software applications.
Great team with a smart and dedicated people. No micro-management. Lots of new things to learn. Every day is different and it’s not boring at all.
Management is supportive. We have a great culture where everyone cares about the quality of our products. We have great teamwork where we celebrate all our success and learn from our failures as well.
I like to confuse people by speaking Russian! 🙂
Marketing – Graphic Designer
I create visual concepts to communicate ideas, evolve and maintain GroupHEALTH’s branding, and ensure consistency is kept across various mediums in print and web.
My coworkers. Even the people I don’t get to interact with on a regular basis. It seems everyone is here for the same reason: to work for a great company with great people.
My career has progressed massively since I started working at GroupHEALTH. When I started last year, I was told to think of some skills or schooling I wanted to upgrade, so from January to April of this year, I took a part-time Digital Design Program at RED Academy in Vancouver studying UX & UI Design. GroupHEALTH supported me mentally as well as financially and it was an amazing experience!!
I love potatoes so much that I named my two kittens after them: Russet & Kennebec.
New Business Development – Team Lead
Market GroupHEALTH, our Associations and the CSBT on the phone to businesses across Canada and set up appointments for our Advisors.
Love the staff! There is not a better group of people anywhere! It is fun to come to work when you really enjoy and respect your colleagues. It is amazing to work with such talented, smart, caring and dedicated people.
I love how our job in NBD is always evolving as this industry evolves. I enjoy the feedback and training from our Partners. I really enjoy hearing about our new sold groups (especially when I have booked the appointment!)!
I used to work for a relationship company (plus worked for 22 years in Special Education) so I give great love and relationship advice! Whether I am advising in education, relationships or employee benefits, it’s always an adventure.
Client Experience – Manager, Client Experience
I am responsible for managing client loyalty programs and taking action to improve the client experience (via the Net Promoter Score program). Moreover, I’m responsible for executing corporate events (Partner BootCAMP training and annual Partner conferences). Finally, I work closely with the leadership team on strategic planning to support the growth and success of GroupHEALTH.
We are pushing the boundaries, seeking new ways to deliver group benefits, and challenging conventional thinking. Working at an organization in growth mode creates a challenging but equally rewarding experience!
We get to interact with everyone in the organization. While there’s a fair share of department specific tasks and responsibilities, the great thing about Client Experience is that you really do get a chance to work with all departments across the organization.
I’m tall. Like tall, tall. Probably the tallest in the company. 😉
Underwriting – Quotes Coordinator
I review data received from partners to ensure all information required to quote has been included. I prepare employee data in Excel workbooks for the underwriters to use and log all new requests to quote.

I am in the same role since I started, however I have only been with GroupHealth for just over one year. I do feel that there is huge potential for growth.
I have two cats and a dog and at one point in my life I had 4 cats, a dog, a bunny, and a bird!
Operations – Operations Analyst
I review business processes and create efficiencies.
The fast-paced environment. Everything is constantly changing, and the company is always growing. This leads to a lot of exciting opportunities.
I started in the Underwriting department as a Technical Assistant on the Renewal Team. I progressed through the Renewal Team and eventually became the Team Lead. I was then able to progress further to become the Manager of Underwriting after 4 years at GroupHEALTH. I always enjoyed the business process and IT side of the organization and was lucky enough to get the opportunity to join the Operations team as an Operations Analyst.
I was on a golf scholarship in university.
Finance – Senior Financial Accountant, Team Lead
As a Senior Financial Accountant, I produce monthly financial statements, prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for our entity GroupSource. I am also the Team Lead of the Accounts Payable Team.
The people and company culture!
I started in Office Admin. and moved into the Finance Department after about a year. I have worked my way from Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to Sr. Financial Accountant and AP Team Lead while getting my Accounting Diploma part-time. Currently, I am working towards my CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation.
I just love being outdoors — I even have the nickname ‘Sunshine’!
Underwriting – Senior Underwriter & Team Lead, Quote
Risk Analysis, Pricing, ensuring we put the right risk on our books of business at appropriate pricing while balancing sales and profitability. I also lead the team by assigning tasks based on workflow and skill set to meet SLA and satisfy partners needs, I also train and mentor the team members, etc.
The constant change through innovations, the fast paced environment, the team goals vs the individual goals, and the flexible work environment.
I started as a senior underwriter and am now a Team Lead. I look forward continuing to learn and grow within the company.
I love watching NFL games and Netflix!!
Finance – Financial Accountant
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgeting and balance sheet reconciliation.
My co-workers treat each other like family and are always willing to help each other.
I started as a co-op student in GroupHEALTH and got a full-time position as Trust Accountant after 6 months. One year later, I was promoted to Financial Accountant. I learned so much through different positions. There are so many great opportunities at GroupHEALTH.
My co-workers call me “CPO” (Chief Prankster Officer).
Client Services – Senior Benefits Specialist
Administer and manage a direct block of businesses, consisting of clients varying from daycares to private jet charters.
The atmosphere! GroupHEALTH really cares about its employees – and it shows.
My team is the best! We laugh a lot and get along so well!
I have a freakish memory for dental procedure codes from my previous job and have been told it’s faster to ask me than to Google the code.
HR – Talent Acquisition Specialist

The people! Everyone here is all about working collaboratively towards our growth goals, but also into making sure that we still take the time to share a laugh and have fun at work.
Be yourself and ask questions! As much as we’ll interview you and want to learn about you personally, we also want you to interview us and learn about all we have to offer.
I was a Sears and Bi-way child model! I also was very musically inclined and almost went for a degree in music education (flute was my forte!).
IT – IT Technician
I take care of the overall coordination of day-to-day IT operations at the Surrey location as well as provide support to our remote offices. I also monitor the daily support tickets and prioritize them according to the set SLA (Service Level Agreement) and manage the local servers, workstations and networks, and troubleshoot support issues.
I like working with the people here because they are always kind, funny and nice.
I enjoy the teamwork in my department because without teamwork we can’t do anything efficiently and effectively.
Some of my hobbies are swimming, travelling, and watching movies!
Office Support – Office Coordinator
All day to day tasks that keep the office running smoothly. Security facilities duties, event planning and working with assisting our executive team.
